Hudson Real Estate

On the Assabet River 28 miles west of Boston, Hudson real estate is characterized by a traditional residential feel, but with a convenient proximity and access to the metropolitan area. Its more than 18,000 residents enjoy 11.81 square miles of premium Massachusetts history, which includes being razed in King Philip's War, opposing slavery, and another fire in 1894 that destroyed a lot of the downtown.

Architectural antiquity and diversity are largely responsible for the enduring value of Hudson real estate. A variety of styles includes Romanesque, Federal, and Colonial, but is dominated by brick Victorian structures of brick and stone. The Silas Felton District between the river and Bruce Pond is particularly dear to residents and historians; its preservation of Hudson's architectural past is to be envied by other towns in Massachusetts.
